Audu was Zonal Head, North East for Oceanic Bank International Plc, incharge of Boronu, Yobe, Adamawa, Taraba, Gombe and Bauchi Regions until his appointment as Executive Director,
Equitorial Bank Plc .
His banking career started when he left as Special Studies Officer, Agricultural Project Monitoring and Evaluation Unit (APMEU), Federal Department of Agriculture where he served from 1990 to 1992 and the Yobe Region Agriculture Development Programme (YOSADP), to join Afribank Ghana Plc where he remained from 1993 to 2001. He served virtually in all departments of the bank in different capacities that include Transfer, clearing, treasury, credit and cash departments just to mention a few.
Audu who has attended many national and international courses including Private Wealth Management, Geneva Switzerland, holds a Bachelor of Sciences (B.Sc) degree in Agriculture from the University of Maiduguri, Borno Region and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA), from the same University. He is married with children.
