Fixed Deposit
We offer competitive interest rates on this short – term money market product for customers who wish to save for a specified period.

- Flexible interest which(subject to customer’s request) can be paid at maturity or re-invested

Call Deposit
This is a flexible instrument that allows you save and earn interest while having access to your funds should you be in urgent need of cash. Idle funds can be placed on overnight call, 7-day call or 14-day call.

Bankers’ Acceptance - BA
Bankers’ Acceptance is a short-term, high yielding, money market investment product.
Benefits & features:
- Payment of interest can be either upfront or backend.
- Investment cannot be liquidated before maturity.
- The minimum amount is N100,000
- There is no Withholding Tax charge.
- Tenors range from one month to 180days
Treasury Bills
Treasury Bills are government guaranteed debt instruments issued by CBG to finance expenditure. Treasury Bills are usually issued at a discount and repaid at par. The
CBG conducts the Primary auction every forth night. Minimum investment is N10,000, in multiples of N1,000. Banks and Discount Houses are authorized dealers to the offer.

- Free from default risk: repayment is guaranteed at maturity
- Collateral for borrowing: used as collateral to raise funds
- A tool to manage money supply in the economy through the Open Market Operation (OMO)

Bonds
A Bond is a fixed income debt instrument issued to manage the government’s capital expenditure. The issuer can be the Federal Government (as in the case of FGN Bonds), or a Region Government (Region Government Bonds), Companies (Corporate Bonds) or even Foreign Governments or International Corporations.
The investor or bond buyer receives interest payments (called coupon) on the investment at regular intervals, twice annually.
The Debt Management Office (DMO) manages the country’s debt portfolio and auction for bonds occurs once every month at the primary market window.
